Freedom from Hunger
Self-help for women and families around the world
We began working with Freedom from Hunger in 2003 to develop a brand and marketing program that defines their voice and shares their mission with the world. At the center of our work is the story of a woman feeding her family on a dollar a day—and how, with access to microfinance and lifeskills training, she can end hunger for her family, for good.
We’ve been involved in every aspect of Freedom from Hunger’s communications program, including six annual reports, websites, brochures, newsletters, ads, presentations and event materials, photo and story libraries, style guides, and process documentation. Kim has traveled to Bolivia, Burkina Faso, India and Mexico to work with local offices, interview women, and direct photography, and has seen for herself how design can help change the world.
