She believes in the power of good coffee and a great list. She values process and partnerhips, and thinks a good project is defined by the relationships as well as the results.
In 1979 Kim began her career in the advertising department of the Chico News and Review, where she sold ads, wrote promo copy, and an occasional story. She jumped to the banking world and worked in house as a media production assistant, and then found herself working alongside Steve for the past 25 years. As the sales/marketing/human resources/project manager/idea instigator and creative combustion engine of the company, she’s worked with hundreds of clients, thousands of projects and has probably burnt out 15 coffee makers. However, Steve has survived, as well as her commitment to produce extraordinary work that can make a difference for her clients, and even the world.
Kim manages most of the studio projects and also works as a communications consultant, providing flexible and focused expertise to clients who want to add capacity to their marketing teams. She provides marketing strategy, messaging and creative consultation for external and internal initiatives.
