Good design allows the genuine voice of a company to be revealed. It's a process that creates a client's own story, one that no one else can tell. Being a pathfinder for that—pulling together the people, the information, the resources to make it happen—is the most exciting part of what I do.

I love how design and creative marketing can make folks pay attention. That perfect synergy that happens when concept, product, opportunity, audience and action all show up at the same place. When design goes beyond style, to communicate with purpose the depth and soul of your organization.

I've managed thousands of projects, ranging from the turnkey to the so-complex-they-made-my-brain-hurt, to work that was profound and important, and really did help change a small corner of the world. Thirty years, hundreds of clients, and plenty of learning.
